Customers Also Bought/Also Viewed is an additional feature that recommends to customers the most relevant suggested products when they view the product page or cart page.

Magento 2 Product Recommendations extension generates fetching records from real view browsing and purchase actions or by rules/conditions set by admin to recommend and automatically displays product suggestions to visitors.

Magento 2 Customers Also Bought Also Viewed's Features​

Suggestions are smartly generated fetching record from real view browsing and purchase actions that customers had already made on your site​

From the creation of Customers Also Bought/ Also Viewed, you have got two separate suggesting blocks: Bought and Viewed displaying.

• Bought: the suggested products directly fetching from real orders storing at file “sales_order_items” to extract pairs of bought together items from other customers.
• Viewed: a block of products resulting from the history view log of logged in customers or caching sessions of IP address into other product pages to suggest many more products based on viewing behaviors.

Suggestions appear when customers view product page and when they review cart page​

“Who bought this also bought” and “Who viewed this also viewed” suggestions appear at product pages, and reviewing cart page before checkout step. We believe they are the best pages to encourage them to browse more as well as prevent exit intent

Create Customers Also Bought/Customers Also Viewed widgets to display products​

This module helps store owners to easily create widgets to display also bought/also viewed products on pages. They can customize Also Bought and Also Viewed widgets provided by our module to configure store views, layouts, product display, and additional functions.

Sort suggesting products randomly or by:​

• Name order
• Price ascending/ descending
• Order quantity
• Frequently Bought Together (at Also Bought block)
• Viewed Times (at Also Viewed block)

Remove cumbersome buttons on suggested catalogs​

Completely enable or disable in some cases where buttons (Add to wishlist, Add to cart, Add to Compare. Reviews Link) shown in the suggesting catalogs are not what you’ve longed for.
